Detroit Homeless Shelter

Sarnaik Endowment for Children & Families

Ingrid & Ashok Sarnaik Endowment For Children & Families

Like Cicero said, "Gratitude is not only the greatest of all virtues, but it is the mother of all others."  We have worked in Detroit for every day of our professional lives. Detroit and Children's Hospital of Michigan have given us everything we have. We are committed to Children's well-being. Healthy families are key to positive outcomes of childhood.  We like what Coalition On Temporary Shelter (COTS) stands for; providing support during the time of greatest need of the parents and breaking the cycle of poverty.

Our parents instilled in us a philanthropic virtue, which we aim to pass down to our children and our children's children.  We seek to raise funds and advocate for COTS in the most meaningful way, through an endowment. We seek to ensure for generations to come, that COTS can continue its mission to alleviate homelessness by providing an array of services that enable families to achieve self-sufficiency and obtain quality affordable housing.
